Sometimes referred to as personality or psychometric testing – this is a means of measuring an individual’s typical way of behaving, thinking, feeling or perceiving in particular situations. It is not a measure of intelligence or ability – but of behaviour. Profiling provides a snapshot view of the preferred behaviour that occurs unconsciously to most people. This is the behaviour with which they are ‘comfortable’ and can sustain for long periods of time. This behaviour is social and intellectual – not physical.
The questionnaires are not a test – as there can be no wrong answers to psychological type. It is an evaluation of the individual’s habitual or typical way of dealing with the world.

You will recognise patterns of behaviour that work well and those that hold you back, providing invaluable information for your coaching programme.
There are many questionnaires available to measure personality and behaviour. At Crown Coaching we use FIRO Element B and Talent Dynamics as these are the ones we have most experience with and find most useful.
